House Rules

1. Profile Photo: The guest who booked the reservation must have a photo of themselves displayed in their profile. 2. Number of Guests: The total number of guests on the premise should be accurately reflected on the reservation at the time of booking. Additional guests are not authorized at the property unless approved in writing in advance by the hosts. 3. Parties/Noise: Parties are not permitted and will not be tolerated. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise or music in the backyard to a reasonable level and not after 10pm. Please keep our home and neighborhood a comfortable place for all. 4. Smoking/Fires: No smoking/fires on the premises whatsoever. 5. Parking: Parking is available in the driveway. Please do not park on the grass or any landscaping. 6. Position/Condition: Place all remotes, tables, chairs, decorative items etc. in the same position or condition as when you arrived. 7. Damages/Maintenance: Please report any damages or maintenance issues as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to address issues promptly. 8. Mid Stay Cleaning Policy: For stays greater than 30 days, a monthly mid-stay cleaning will be provided at no additional cost and will be scheduled at the guests' convenience. During this time the house must be vacant to allow our cleaners to work efficiently. This is a requirement for all extended reservations to ensure a clean and maintained property for all guests. 9. Pet Policy: Your pets are welcomed guests in our home however pets are only allowed when previously authorized by the host in writing. Please keep pets off the furniture and wipe paws off when coming inside. Pets are required to be leashed when outside unless the area is fully fenced. Please pick up and discard your pet's waste from the yard and do not allow your pet to dig. Any damages or excessive cleaning related to the pet will be charged to guests. Failure to follow house rules may result in cancellation of the booking and/or fees.

We had a wonderful time at the home. We stayed for a month while waiting for our new home to be available and we loved it. The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. The best part was the neighbors. We got to know about everyone, and they were all so friendly. When we have family come visit us, we will definitely recommend this house.

Horseshoe cottage was a great place to stay for the Aiken Opener, only 15 mins from Stable View and 2-5 minutes from all the restaurants, bars, shopping, and Aiken Farm Supply. The house was cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed (except a coffee maker). I will definitely return and stay if it's available next year.

Find us

Getting around downtown Aiken is fairly easy and there is usually plenty of free parking. Downtown is also an easy ten minute walk from Horseshoe Cottage.
